Yesterday at church our youth Pastor preached. His message was awesome and aligned perfectly with what Jason and I have been praying about, to have a child. His message was Faith Under Pressure. He preached that biblical faith BELIEVES that God can, EXPECTS that HE will, but TRUSTS even if HE doesn't. He said we need to have a, "but even if you don't, you are still God" kind of faith. The hit me very hard yesterday. Even if his answer is no for us to have a child, He is still God. Isaiah 55:9 says, "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." No matter what His will, will always be done because He is higher than us and knows what is BEST for us. So I decided yesterday that even if He doesn't give us a child, He is still God and I will trust Him fully. Why? Simply Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in PERFECT PEACE him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you." God bless and Happy Memorial Day! Trying to conceive...

My husband and I have been trying to have a child now for close to a year. This has been the desire of our hearts for a long time. Jason had a vasectomy over 2 years ago (before our salvations) so as you can image it seems impossible for us to have a child. Jeremiah 32:17 says "O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!" I truly believe in my heart that God can give us a child! Jason and I went forward this morning at church and laid our request to God at the alter. When we both stood up we both felt assurance and peace that one day we will be parents. Through prayer God will hear our request for a child and He will, in His perfect timing, bless us beyond measure. James 5:16 .... "The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." I would ask for any Christians out there with no doubt in their hearts that God can perform this miracle for us to pray with us through this time in our lives.
